ikon was selected on behalf of a Housing Corporation development partner to take on the delivery of a housing programme, comprising a range of high profile schemes across the capital. Ikon’s role was to manage effectively all aspects of risk on behalf of the client on a scheme-by-scheme and programme-wide basis. This included regular reporting to the client, a scheme-by-scheme review highlighting key risk areas and appropriate mitigation, preparation of scheme cash flows and clear internal communication regarding important project milestones such as scheduled dates for grant and completion.
Ikon’s commission is based on the effective delivery of schemes including a mixture of homes for rent, new-build homebuy and market sale. This work is focussed upon managing risk on behalf of the client and includes attendance at site meetings, liaison with the delivery team and working closely with all relevant internal customers such as the housing services and asset management teams.
