Recently there has been some high profile coverage based on the poor quality of new homes delivered in the affordable housing sector, together with some criticism of poor customer service where issues arise.
In that context we were pleased to be advised that nearly 90% of LQs residents at Plot 115 at Meridian Delta, RB Greenwich were satisfied with the finish of their homes. The result was particularly encouraging as it came from the LQ ‘Year On’ survey based on an independent survey of residents who have been in the home for one year.
Director, Chris Cheeseman, commented: ’The outcome on quality is particularly welcome at this time and reflects a very positive partnership between LQ, Knight Dragon and Wates to ensure that homes are delivered to a high quality – our focus on quality is relentless from inception to handover. The result is particularly encouraging given that this is a relatively large mixed tenure development of 80 homes. Whilst we are encouraged by the outcome we have reviewed the full results of the survey with our client and have identified improvements which we can bring to future work with LQ and beyond.’
