Ikon on behalf of Southend developers Randall Watts, has successfully secured a deal for over 50 shared ownership homes in a key regeneration area of Victoria Avenue Southend-on-Sea. The scheme, located in a previously vacant office accommodation known as Heath and Carby, has been empty for over 10 years but forms a key scheme within the Council’s regeneration of the area. The scheme has now commenced with significant numbers of apartments sold off plan and shared ownership homes scheduled for delivery in 2017 via Genesis Housing Association.
Randall Watts’ Director Mark Watts commented: ‘ikon worked hard to ensure that we identified a Housing Association partner that delivered value to the wider scheme and could work with us to ensure a bright future for this strategic development opportunity. As a local developer, we want this to be a great example of our work, to make a local contribution and to secure more projects’.
